ABOUT OUR CENTER

The DSMS Center for Learning and Innovation is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each weekday. It is staffed by the Facilitator of Learning and Innovation (FLI), Amy Caldera, and CL&I assistant, Carol La Barre. Student aides are also a valuable asset to our center.

The center library houses over 10,000 items including books, ebooks, newspapers, magazines, and electronic databases. We are a digital workspace for communication and creativity with student access to iPads and laptops.

The CL&I has a flexible student schedule for reading, research, and collaboration. ELA classes have a fixed schedule to explore books.   All core and elective classes can sign up for curriculum-related technology assistance and use the center for digital collaboration.

The center is the hub for campus technology. Students may visit the CL&I for support of digital-related assignments and questions about student devices.
